Warm grey painted cabinetry pairs with Aya’s light “Cashew” stain, while custom framed arches at the peninsula and beside the fireplace add a tailored architectural touch. Finished with oil-rubbed bronze hardware and a matching faucet, the space feels both retro and modern—made even more functional by a mini integrated butler’s pantry that keeps everyday appliances (and even the fridge) completely out of sight for a clean, streamlined look. In their kitchen, the homeowner was looking for a natural, earthy feel with warm tones and mid-century touches.  To achieve this mix of retro and modern, we incorporated warm grey painted cabinets and a light natural “Cashew” stain colour from Aya, as well as custom framed arches above the kitchen peninsula and beside the fireplace. Oil-rubbed bronze cabinet hardware and faucet complete the look. Even the refrigerator is out of sight in the pantry area, along with the toaster, coffee maker, and microwave.
