About This Project

For this project, we aimed to create a light-filled, open kitchen. We removed a framed closet to move the stove further from the corner, enhancing the kitchen's functionality. By removing bulkheads and suspended upper cabinets, we allowed more light from the large corner windows to pour into the living room, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.

The microwave was moved into the island to free up counter space, maintaining a clean and uncluttered look. With no upper cabinets along the stove and sink wall, we added a unique elongated hex tile backsplash to introduce visual interest while preserving the minimalist aesthetic. The combination of Caesarstone Airy Concrete countertops and Medio doorstyle cabinets in Latte creates a sleek, modern kitchen that feels spacious and inviting.
